The fundamental principles of Green Field Student Houses are to make Green Field Scholars equipped with excellent Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, Leadership Skills, Handling Success and Failures effectively and Team Works. Students are clustered into four different houses DEEKSHA, MYTHRI, SAHANA and TEJUS.

Deeksha

Deeksha is the Sanskrit word for initiation. It is said that the process of deeksha allows the disciple to blossom in the career. They are able to transcend the intellect and find their happiness in the ultimate quenching of their thirst for knowledge.

OUR OBJECTIVE: Persistently thrive for excellence; spread the fragrances of happiness, enthusiasm and achievements. It represents power, enthusiasm and achievement. It signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. The colour of DEEKSHA House is BLUE – The colour blue stands for trust, honesty, loyalty and responsibility. It is sincere, reserved and quiet, and doesn’t like to make a fuss or draw attention. It hates confrontation, and likes to do things in its own way. From a colour psychology perspective, blue is reliable and responsible. This colour exhibits an inner security and confidence. You can rely on it to take control and do the right thing in difficult times.

Mythri

Mythri stands for good will, friendship and kindness. It indicates a gift of gab – the ability to persuade others effortlessly. They are expressive, optimistic, outgoing and inspiring. They are actually charming and cheerful. They fascinate others with their creativity. They have the innate ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. They have a sensible and practical attitude towards the given task.

OUR OBJECTIVE: Tap the potential of each one of the team mates. It represents working,, holding and doing together. It denies confrontation and likes to do things on its own way. It exhibits an inner security and confidence. House MYTHRI represents the colour YELLOW. The colour yellow is the colour of the mind and the intellect. As the floral meaning suggests courageously pursue the path of wisdom through faith and hope with a peace of mind and effective team coordination. This colour relates to acquired knowledge. It resonates with the left or logic side of the brain stimulating our mental faculties and creating mental agility and perception. The colour psychology of yellow is uplifting and illuminating, offering hope, happiness, cheerfulness and fun. In the meaning of colours, yellow inspires original thought and inquisitiveness. Yellow is creative from a mental aspect, the colour of new ideas, helping us to find new ways of doing things. It is the practical thinker, not the dreamer.

Sahana

SAHANA resembles team work. It upholds trust, sincerity and relieves stress and restores to sense of well being. How the petals of the flower make beauty when they are arranged and organized themselves into the shape by being cooperative and jelled into the structure in such a way they plan and organize the given task to bring out the best outcome.

OUR OBJECTIVE: Harmonizes the process of growth and development by synchronizing our activities with nature blessings to remain physiologically and psychologically healthy. The colour of SAHANA House is GREEN – The colour green is the colour of balance, harmony and growth. This is the colour of balance and harmony. From a colour psychology perspective, it is the great balancer of the heart and the emotions, creating equilibrium between the head and the heart. From a meaning of colours perspective, green is the colour of growth, the colour of spring, of renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. It is the sanctuary away from the stress of modern living, restoring us back to a sense of well being. That’s why there is so much of this relaxing colour on the earth. Green is an emotionally positive colour, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally. A natural peacemaker.

Tejus

Tejus is a Sanskrit term that translates to ‘fire’ or ‘illumination’. It can be classified as a type of energy, vitality or charisma. It is also one of the five gross material elements that make up the body in Samkhya philosophy. It is considered a type of intense inner power. Tejus stands tall in all circumstances and seasons to thrive and provide brilliant colour and scent to a landscape. They can grow in all hardiness zones. They have a flower meaning of patience, love, daintiness and good luck. These plants may also be used for their strong medicinal properties.
OUR OBJECTIVE: It pursues the path of wisdom confidently. It represents the mind and the intellect. It inspires original thought and inquisitiveness and finds new ways of doing things. TEJUS house represents the colour RED. Red is the colour of power, enthusiasm and achievement. Red is energizing. It excites the emotions and motivates us to take action. It signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. It is also strong-willed and can give confidence to those who are shy or lacking in will power.
