Green Field School International encourage students to extend their outlook beyond the realm of the textbook. School believes that students, to become exceptional adults requires more than just academics. Green Field emphasizes all round development through a balanced program of extra curricular activities that inculcate team spirit, exploration and development of each students’ potential, confidence and encourage higher standards of achievement. The school offers wide range of sports facilities such as basket ball court, cricket ground, volley ball court, horse riding, swimming pool and gym facilities.

Kuchipudi

Kuchipudi is one of the most ancient and popular dance forms of Andhrapradesh. It’s been an amazing dance form all over the world. There are certain masters who have been adapted Kuchipudi dance as their profession indeed among such great artists our Dance master of Green Fielsd School International Mr Mohan is the one. He has been adapted it with great devotion and dedication. Significantly we can find lakhs of people who have been trained and achieved success in their career. He apparently lifts the spirit in students and fine their innate abilities. He strives hard to glorify the dance form. He has been training the students since ten years at Green Field School International. His motto is to popularise the dance form all over Andhra Pradesh and take it to the next level. He wants to search the potential in students so as to get succeeded 8n their career in fine arts.

Bharatanaatyam

Bharatanaatyam is the most traditional , picturesque and highly renowned dance form of India. It has taken its origin in the state of Tamilnadu. It is not only has its own reputation in India but also in the leading countries of the world. This can’t be taught by most of them only the people who have chosen to be professional. It is quite difficult in learning the steps of Bharatanaatyam hence there are a few trainers available to teach this however our Dance master vMr Mohan is one who trains the students of Green Field School International. The students who have learnt this beautiful dance form GFSI have Chieved both national and International dance competitions and there by brought laurels to the institution.

Horse Riding

The benefits of horse riding are immense enjoyment, physically and mental fitness and fun. 

Horse riding develops balance and improve coordination and motor function. Other advantages include strengthening of muscles, reflex acceleration, prevention of muscle cramps, increased joint mobility, boosting the cardiovascular system , improving blood circulation, stimulation of sensory integration, improved visual perception of space, the development of responsibility, patience and self-discipline, increasing self-confidence

Riding a horse at a walk stimulates the internal organs just as walking on foot does. This aids in liver function and digestion. Horse riding is an enjoyable hobby and sport for adults and children alike. Children can learn the responsibility of caring for an animal. Just like your muscles your brain needs exercise to keep young and supple. Riding provides an active avenue for keeping your brain exercised.

Green Field School International provides an opportunity to all of its students to learn horse riding with an experienced tutors.

Swimming Pool

Swimming is lots of fun for people of all ages and children especially love getting in the water and enjoying themselves. But it is not just fun, swimming also provides loads of health benefits which can help to keep your children healthy and happy at the same time. 

swimming is an excellent cardiovascular workout that promotes heart and lung health, improves strength and flexibility, increases stamina and even improves balance and posture. In addition, swimming is a way to prevent childhood obesity, which has been linked to juvenile diabetes. Swimming also puts less strain on joints and connective tissues than other forms of exercise.

Encouraging your child to swim can also improve his mental and emotional health. The natural buoyancy of the water is more relaxing than other types of exercise. Swimming can also improve overall mood, and help combat depression. Learning to swim, and being confident and familiar with water, is important for everyone. Swimming skills, particularly among children, are fundamental to every individual’s safety to ensure they have the ability to survive in and around the water.

Considering all the above factors, Green Field School International takes responsibility of fulfilling the health, safety concerns and fun for every student. School has a swimming pool facility with an experienced instructors to assist the students.

Sports

The importance of sports and games in school encompasses more than just the benefit of physical activity. sports are an integral part of a student’s life. A student should study hard to be successful in competitive examinations. But, he should also play games and sports to enjoy the health and vigor of life. Sports increases self-esteem and mental alertness which make school sports and games necessary for every school age child.

Good sportsmanship provides guidelines that can be generalized to classroom and lifelong achievement. Participation in challenging sports contests teaches children to love classroom challenge. It also teaches children to function in a competitive society. Sports foster many of the skills children will use in school and adulthood. The following are many of the benefits of playing a sport in high school.

Green Field School International takes a great deal in including sports and games in the curriculum of studies which are very important in modern times with great infrastructure supporting all the sports and games students love. ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’. We want Jack to become a bright young man. So, games and sports not optional but compulsory in education at all levels, so that approach to it may be sincere, not casual.
